Dear user, a new book review has been published in our open access journal Tapuya: Latin American Science, Technology and Society.

Within Our Grasp: Childhood Malnutrition and the Revolution Taking Place to End It
By Janet Rodriguez

This book review is a synopsis of Within Our Grasp: Childhood Malnutrition Worldwide and the Revolution Taking Place to End It by Sharman Apt Russell (Pantheon, 2021). The recommendation is for the book to be used as a resource for any class or research project that deals with cultural anthropology, global citizenship, childhood malnutrition, and/or symbiotic life on earth. Reviewed by an educator who has spent years living in sub-Saharan Africa, the book is suggested as a resource for real-life experience and remedy(ies) of a long-lasting cultural affliction. Poverty and disease are addressed, as is global climate change.
